Engine Rebuilding Services

With our in-house machine shop, race experience, and high quality tooling, we deliver only the highest standard of service.

We are now offering packaged rebuilds for Type 247/248 engines to make your project budget more predictable and affordable. See the details below.

There are many performance upgrades that can be applied to a BMW airhead engine and we have experience with making this a reality for you.

Short Block:  The engine is returned to factory specifications (but better because it is blue printed!).  Includes cleaning service so the engine even looks new.  $3950 CDN

  • New Main Bearings

  • New Big End Bearings

  • Connecting rod small end bush replacement

  • Crank thrust reset

  • New oil pump

  • New timing chain

  • Complete engine case cleaning

  • All new seals and gaskets

Exclusions:

  1. This rebuild does not include repairing damaged components

  2. The top end is not repaired in this package

  3. Unusually worn/abused/weathered engines may be assessed for extra costs. For example, a seized engine would require additional problem solving over and above a ‘normal’ engine rebuild

  4. A new clutch is NOT included but can be supplied and installed if needed

  5. Camshaft and Camshaft followers are not included

  6. Ignition systems and upgrades not included but can be optionally installed if requested

  7. Charging systems and upgrades not included but can be optionally installed if requested

Stage 2:  Same as Stage 1 but with a cylinder head rebuild included.  $5350 CDN

Stage 1 exclusions apply

Stage 3:  The Whole Package: Stage 2 plus piston/cylinder service (usually this means an overbore and new pistons). $6500 CDN

Stage 1 exclusions apply

Stage 4:  An engine built for high performance street applications. This formula will use a mix of stock, aftermarket, and custom parts. A performance camshaft and upgraded top end is included (often this means a Siebenrock Kit). $7500 - $9500 CDN
